Course Descriptor
This course covers the preparation of income tax returns for individuals in accordance with statutory requirements. (See course content below).

Application of the Course
This course requires the application of skills and knowledge required to prepare income tax returns for individuals in accordance with statutory requirements. The course encompasses gathering and verifying data, calculating taxable income and reviewing compliance. This course has application to accountants and registered tax agents.

Who should do the course?
This course is specifically designed for those people seeking work with Tax Agents during the tax season, full or part time as a tax preparer consultant. If you want to earn income as a tax preparer, apply for this course right now. No previous experience is necessary. There is a continuing need for qualified income tax consultants. The Australian Academy accredited TAX preparer course assumes students have no prior tax knowledge and teaches students a solid and working understanding of the intricacies of tax return preparation.

Course Outcomes
National Statement of Attainment issued by Australian Academy on successful competency, the Statement of Attainment granted by Australian Academy is accredited by the Department of Education and Training (DET). This program is nationally recognised under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).

After Graduation
Top graduates of the course may receive job interviews. To be eligible for a job interview you must achieve a competent benchmark, have reasonable availability for work during the tax season and, of course, have sound communication skills.
