VET in Schools

Australian Academy will provide Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Schools. VET in schools is a Nationally Recognised Training program that is available to secondary school students as part of their school curriculum. During the school year, students can explore a career path by enrolling into one of our courses designed specifically for secondary school students. Students can study a VET course for a few hours a week and work towards completing a certificate level course.

Australian Academy offers the following courses as part of the VET in Schools Program:

• Certificate II in Retail
• Certificate III in Retail
• Certificate II in Hospitality
• Certificate III in Hospitality
• Certificate II in Business
• Certificate III in Business
• Certificate III in Business Administration

A VET course at Australian Academy will provide the following benefits to students:

• Receive credit points towards QCE (QLD) and HSC (NSW)
• Develop practical skills that are industry specific
• Build the confidence to succeed in the workplace
• Receive credit points towards Diploma level study
• Earn an industry recognised qualification and obtain credit to assist with university entrance.
