We can bring the training to you
Short courses can be delivered at your location, for your convenience. Delivery on your site is available for a minimum of 10 participants if a suitable training room is available. (Additional costs may apply for delivery outside metropolitan areas).

This course will give you the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty.  The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. Includes CPR, First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis).

On completion of this course, students will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting

Please note: First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification is valid for 3 years. CPR certification is valid for 1 year.

This course will give you the required skills and knowledge to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

On completion of this course, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

This course will give you the skills and knowledge required to support and protect children and young people who are at risk of harm. This work occurs within legislative and policy frameworks and carries a duty of care responsibility. This unit applies to workers in a range of job roles providing services to children and young people including in community services and health contexts.

This training and Statement of Attainment is required by all:

  • Nominated Supervisors and Certified Supervisors who are placed in day to day charge of an education and care service in NSW (under the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012).
  • Authorised Supervisors (under the NSW Children’s Services Regulation 2004).

On completion of this course, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk

This course will give you the skills and knowledge required to handle food safely during the storage, preparation, display, service and disposal of food. It requires the ability to follow predetermined procedures as outlined in a food safety program.

On completion of this course, students will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in SITXFSA002 Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices

This course describes the skills and knowledge required to assist with the planning and evaluating appropriate meals and menus based on the Australian Dietary Guidelines, and other dietary guidelines, in consultation with a dietitian to meet the nutritional needs of individuals within client groups. It involves the selection and planning of balanced meals, general menu planning principles and the development and evaluation of menus.

On completion of this course, students will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in HLTAHA018 Assist with planning and evaluating meals and menus to meet recommended dietary guidelines.

This unit addresses the management of projects, including developing a project plan, administering and monitoring the project, finalising the project, and reviewing the project to identify lessons learned for application to future projects

On completion of this course, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for BSBPMG522 Undertake project work

This unit applies to individuals who require a fundamental knowledge of WHS to carry out their own work, which may be in a defined context under direct supervision or with some individual responsibility. The unit has broad applicability across industries and workplace contexts.

On completion of this course, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for BSBWHS201 Contribute to health and safety of self and others.

This unit applies to the understanding and management of own stress and team stress in the workplace. Competence in this unit requires managing own stress and managing the stress within a team by using effective strategies and initiatives to reduce stress and to improve the resilience of staff.

On completion of this course, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for BSBWOR403 Manage stress in the workplace
