Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
What is this qualification?
This course will give you the skills and knowledge required to support and protect children and young people who are at risk of harm. This work occurs within legislative and policy frameworks and carries a duty of care responsibility. This unit applies to workers in a range of job roles providing services to children and young people including in community services and health contexts.
This training and Statement of Attainment is required by all:
- Nominated Supervisors and Certified Supervisors who are placed in day to day charge of an education and care service in NSW (under the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012).
- Authorised Supervisors (under the NSW Children’s Services Regulation 2004).
On completion of this course, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
Group Training
We deliver this course for groups in our modern training facilities in Auburn, Ashmore and Upper Mt Gravatt.
